At the heart of iport is the concept of Relationship Management.
We don’t mean CRM – that’s an acronym for a software application – we mean the relationships between different parts of data within the system and how they relate to the needs of the users/customers of that data.
The objective is to build co-dependent relationships where if one transaction is captured and it has an impact on another related transaction, both will be updated simultaneously.
Finally, there are lots of relationships that do not involve staff – assets, projects, products, etc. - and transactions and data still has to be managed here (this is one of the main differences between iport and a CRM package).
Many Not For Profit Organisations and Charities also use iport as their Portal platform because of the strong relationships that can be developed. This allows these organisations to interact with their numerous stakeholders in a more proactive and positive way.
